To treat 30,000 cfm of foul odors from their remote Shades Valley Transfer Station

Our Solution

BIOREM® installed a multi-modular Basys biofilter system. Six Basys 40 units using our 10-year Biosorbens® permanent media were installed in parallel to treat the 30,000 cfm of foul odors. Pneumatic humidification was also done in the duct for this location.

Our Success

These units were commissioned together in July 2002 and have all been performing exceptionally well with only a 20 second residence time.
