Our Challenge

To treat 7500 acfm of foul odor and VOC's at the Scarborough, Ontario printed circuit board plant.

Our Solution

A double Basys 40 system combined with impingement scrubber and fabric filter was installed. One Basys 40 reactor contains Biomix™ and the other Biosorbens®. The Biosorbens® reactor is treating a higher air flow with shorter residence time. Also included in this installation is BIOREM's winterization package which includes steam generation and temperature controllers.

Our Success

The system is demonstrating removal efficiencies of up to 96% PGMEA, ~85% VOC's and complete odor removal since its commissioning in August 2000.
