Position: Field Service Representative Canada

FT/PT: Full Time Permanent

Location/Department: Engineering         Facility Location: Guelph, Ontario


Scope

Responsible for the successful installation, start-up and customer support in the operation of BIOREM systems.  

Essential Functions/Areas of Responsibility

• Lead a wide variety of field inspections, checks, and tests of equipment prior to shipping and installation.
• Monitor and troubleshoot critical equipment and instrumentation, documenting recommendations for improvement.
• Assist and direct sub-contractors with the installation of BIOREM products.
• Coordinate and provide operator training on site to meet the contractual service obligations to the client.
• Regularly interacts with customers and senior management on matters concerning several functional areas.
• Provide engineering support to project manager.

Knowledge & Expertise

Requires a university/college degree or equivalent in mechanical/electrical or instrumentation disciplines

• 25% - 50% travel required.  
• Knowledge of AutoCAD.

Language/Communication Skills

• Ability to effectively communicate both in writing and verbally.
• Ability to speak Spanish a plus.

Environmental Factors

• Exposure to noise.
• Mechanical hazards such as moving vehicles, moving belts.
• Site specific health and safety protocols including head, foot and eye protection as necessary.
