Position: Field Service Representative Canada
FT/PT: Full Time Permanent
Location/Department: Engineering Facility Location: Guelph, Ontario
Scope
Responsible for the successful installation, start-up and customer support in the operation of BIOREM systems.
Essential Functions/Areas of Responsibility
- Lead a wide variety of field inspections, checks, and tests of equipment prior to shipping and installation.
- Monitor and troubleshoot critical equipment and instrumentation, documenting recommendations for improvement.
- Assist and direct sub-contractors with the installation of BIOREM products.
- Coordinate and provide operator training on site to meet the contractual service obligations to the client.
- Regularly interacts with customers and senior management on matters concerning several functional areas.
- Provide engineering support to project manager.
Knowledge & Expertise
Requires a university/college degree or equivalent in mechanical/electrical or instrumentation disciplines

- Forward thinking, flexible and adaptable in constantly changing situations.
- Exercises judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.

- Superior negotiating and conflict resolution skills.
- Good organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
- Self motivated and the ability to work unsupervised for extended period of time.
- Ability to promote and sell aftermarket products and services within a designated geographic territory.
- 25% - 50% travel required.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD.
Language/Communication Skills
- Ability to effectively communicate both in writing and verbally.
- Ability to speak Spanish a plus.
Environmental Factors
- Exposure to noise.
- Mechanical hazards such as moving vehicles, moving belts.
- Site specific health and safety protocols including head, foot and eye protection as necessary.
