To eliminate odors and high level H₂S associated with headworks of the Centre Street wastewater treatment plant.

Our Solution

To treat the 2800 cfm of foul odor, BIOREM® installed a Basys 20, which is treating the air with our Biosorbens® permanent media in 20 seconds residence time.

This unit features an integrated, in-vessel packed tower to provide humidification and is operated under negative pressure.

Our Success

The City of Mount Pleasant was so pleased with the performance of their first Basys system that they ordered 4 more units to be installed at different locations.
