SAM M1 Print

The SAM M1 is a combination of biotrickling and biofilter technologies. When operated in series, provides a robust and cost effective approach to the treatment of complex odors associated with various municipal waste water treatment processes. The first stage of the SAM M1 series consists of a biotrickling filter that is customizable between 2-30s EBRT and used as a roughing scrubber to remove elevated hydrogen sulfide concentrations, allowing the second stage biofilter to concentrate on the more recalcitrant organic sulfides and VOCs. sam_m1_assy-2

- Industrial application for VOC removal

Features    Benefits
Handles Difficult Applications The SAM M1 combines biotrickling & biofiltration to handle the most difficult air stream applications. This provides long term consistent total odor removal.
Variety of Vessel types

The SAM M1 can be constructed using a variety of material types to meet budgets, delivery requirements and plant aesthetics.

Modular Design With the use of certain vessel materials and depending on the flow requirements the SAM M1 can be shipped to site for quick easy installation as a complete system ready for simple installation by contractor.

Media 1st Stage

Ultra efficient synthetic media capable of removing greater than 99% of H2S.

Biosorbens® 2nd Stage

This engineered mineral based media is homogenous and uniform in shape, providing consistent and predictable performance with less maintenance when compared to other media.

Water Recirculation System Reduces wastewater generation and water consumption. Recirculation of the wastewater decreases acclimation time and allows the unit to be up and running within a short period of time. Plant effluent is all that is typically required but when not available, potable water can be substituted.
Automated Controls

Operator friendly and compatible with most SCADA systems.

Dual stage

Handles variable peak variation, shock loads and process upsets with ease.
