Our Challenge

To replace a malfunctioning chemical scrubber with a BIOREM® system that will treat the 2,000 cfm of foul air at the Reclamation Facility at a contact time as low as 6.7 seconds.

Our Solution

The Mytilus® biotrickling filter was installed and designed to handle H₂S concentrations of 50 ppm average and up to 100 ppm at peaks. This unit requires a very small footprint (6 ft diameter vessel and 14.5 ft straight shell) and guarantees a 99% removal efficiency.
