Wastewater Treatment Print

Wastewater Treatment Plants (WWTP) take the flow of wastewater from residential homes, industrial plants, and sewer runoff and treat this waste so it can discharged back into the environment. Treating wastewater is a process of cleaning it to remove solids, chemicals and other undesirable materials before it is discharged. During the different phases in the treatment process various gasses at different intensities are released such as Hydrogen Sulphide (H2S), Reduced Sulfur Compounds (which are made up of many different containments), Ammonia NH3, and Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC). These compounds are extremely odorous and can be potentially dangerous. BIOREM® has an engineered solution for each of these treatment phases to remove and destroy the various odorous causing compounds.
