Wastewater Treatment Plants (WWTP) take the flow of wastewater from residential homes, industrial plants, and sewer runoff and treat this waste so it can discharged back into the environment. Treating wastewater is a process of cleaning it to remove solids, chemicals and other undesirable materials before it is discharged.
